A Message From Mr. Moon
Welcome Back, Wildcat Families! A Fantastic First 3 Days!
Dear Chattahoochee Families,
What an incredible start to the school year! Seeing our hallways filled with bright smiles, eager learners, and energetic energy over these first three days has been nothing short of inspiring.
I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our parents and guardians for your support, patience, and partnership in making our opening week run so smoothly. From learning new routines to navigating drop-off and pick-up lines, your cooperation has been amazing.
They say "it takes a village," and that couldn't be truer here at Chattahoochee Elementary. When school staff and families work hand-in-hand, our students thrive. We are deeply committed to partnering with you to ensure your child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn every single day.
A few quick notes as we head into our first full week:
š Routines & Schedules: Thank you for helping your children arrive on time and prepared each morning. As everyone gets used to their daily rhythms, drop-off and pick-up times will keep getting faster!
š¬ Communication: Please continue checking ParentSquare regularly for updates from your child's teacher and school leadership.
š¤ Get Involved: Itās never too early to connect! Consider joining our PTA or volunteering for upcoming school events to stay involved in our Wildcat community.
We have so many wonderful learning experiences, special activities, and milestones planned for this year, and I am honored to lead such a supportive school community. Together, we are going to make this an unforgettable school year!
Thank you again for sharing your wonderful children with us. Letās make it a great year! š¾
Your Proud Principal,
Mark Moon

Transportation Changes
If your child has a transportation change, please send a written note to your childās teacher that morning. The note should include:
- The date
- A phone number where you can be reached
- Clear transportation instructions for that day
For student safety, transportation changes cannot be accepted by phone. Please also try to avoid sending transportation changes through email or messages, as teachers may not be able to check them during the school day. In the event of an emergency, please call the school office.
We encourage families to keep transportation plans as consistent as possible. Predictable routines help ensure a safe, smooth, and efficient dismissal process.
Thank you for your understanding and partnership in keeping our students safe.
