Principal's Message
Spartan Families,
As we enter the month of February, I want to thank our students, staff, and families for their continued dedication and support. It has been wonderful to see our Spartans working hard, showing kindness, and taking pride in their school community.
February is a time to celebrate as our students continue to demonstrate growth academically and personally. We continue to be proud of the positive choices they make each day. Through their efforts, they help create a campus that is safe, respectful, and welcoming for all.
Thank you for your partnership and commitment to our school. Together, we will continue to inspire our students to reach their full potential.

Self Love Workshop for 5th-8th Grade Students
🌟 Spartan Spotlight Awards
As we continue through the school year, our counseling program remains focused on supporting the whole child (academically, socially, and emotionally.) We consistently reinforce our Core Emergent Tree Values of Safe, Respectful, and Responsible, which guide students in making positive choices, building strong relationships, and taking ownership of their actions both in and out of the classroom.
We are also continuing our CharacterStrong lessons, which help students develop important social-emotional skills such as empathy, self-management, resilience, and teamwork. Through these lessons, students are learning how to navigate challenges, manage their emotions, communicate effectively, and support one another in meaningful ways.
This semester, we are excited to continue our Spartan Spotlight Awards, a recognition program that celebrates students who consistently demonstrate strong character and our core values.
-
In January, we honored students with the December Focused Finisher Award, recognizing those who showed resilience, responsibility, and self-management during a busy season by staying focused, organized, and positive under pressure.
-
In February, we will recognize students with The Compassionate Leader Award, which highlights Social Awareness and connects to our values of being Respectful and Responsible. These students lead with empathy, lift up others without seeking recognition, and help create a kinder, more supportive school community through their actions.
-
In April, we will celebrate students who earn The Community Champion Award, also focused on Social Awareness and connected to our values of being Respectful and Safe. These students help make our campus welcoming and inclusive by respecting differences, supporting others, maintaining shared spaces, and promoting a peaceful, positive school environment.
We encourage families to talk with your child about what they are learning through CharacterStrong and Spartan Spotlight, and how they are applying these skills at home and in the community. If you ever have questions or need support, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your childs school counselor.
