Lufkin PTA Pulse

BOLTS Cart is the school’s student-recognition system that celebrates students’ positive behavior choices. Teachers award student stickers to recognize positive behaviors, and students get to “shop” at the cart for treats and prizes. Parents and caregivers are needed to staff the cart. Please sign up for a shift — you can sign up just once or a few times throughout the semester.

Our students love their grade-level socials, and we need adult volunteers to make them happen! Lend a hand, and see the joy for yourself.

• 6th Grade Social: September 5 and March 27
• 7th Grade Social: October 17 and March 6
• 8th Grade Social: November 7 and May 8 (sign-up for the May 8 dance will come separately)

Each year, we treat our amazing Lufkin staff and teachers to tasty snacks! Throughout the school year, the PTA creates and delivers snack baskets to each pod for teachers to enjoy.
