Thank You and Enjoy Your Summer
Walker Families!
We did it! Thank you for all the support you have given your child and Walker school for the 23-24 school year. Next year, will be a a year of transition as many staff members will be changing grade levels and schools. Some of your students will be changing schools as well next year. We wish you all the best of luck. If you continue to have questions regarding next year, please send me an email. I will be here through June.
On a very personal note, I would like to thank all of your for welcoming me into your school community. I've enjoyed these last three months. I really hope I made an impact on your students in this short time. They sure made an impact on me.

Notes from our Social Worker, Mr. Hofer
Dear parents!
It has been so awesome being back at Walker the last couple of months and I look forward to being back in the fall. The summer is a perfect time to get your child off those screens and outside! The local park districts have TONS of activities for you to check out. The local forest preserves have TONS of trails for you to walk and explore. The Lincoln Park Zoo is always free! There are so many things to do in the Chicago area during the summer, please take this time to reconnect with your child!
