From the Counselors
College Application Season is Upon Us!
When it comes time for School Counselors to send Official Transcripts to colleges or universities, families must have completed FERPA Authorization (giving permission to release educational records) on SchooLinks. Otherwise, our Counselors cannot send the transcript.
You may have already received instructions and completed this task on SchooLinks. You may also access the instructions here if you did not.

Senior Picture Guidelines
Graduation is a formal event, and senior photos should reflect that professionalism.
The senior picture must be:
A professional-looking, color, digital photo
Showing your entire head with both eyes visible
Not distorted or altered in any way
Acceptable settings:
Outdoor or professional-looking indoor backgrounds
Not acceptable: selfies, photos taken in a car, inside a house, restroom, etc.
Photo content requirements:
Must be a portrait with only the student in the image
No props, pets, or other people
Exceptions: graduation cap, gown, or the number 2027
Students must follow all school rules, including the dress code.
Photos that are too dark or do not meet the guidelines will not be used; the most recent school picture will replace it.
Your photo will appear in the yearbook and must be vertically aligned (portrait orientation).
The school reserves the right to zoom in on full-body photos if needed.
Photos and senior plans may be:
Emailed to Mr. Leatherwood: dleather@columbus.k12.oh.us
Submitted through the form: Senior Photo and Plans
Deadlines: Submit your photo by April 1st at 3:00 PM for inclusion in the Tassels & Treats. The Friday after prom is the final deadline for the senior slideshow/yearbook photo.
A sample of the senior slideshow will be shown at graduation rehearsal during the week after Memorial Day.
The decision to play the slideshow at graduation is made by district administrators in conjunction with the graduation venue.
