Burning Man Ticket Reg Opens Today

After two years of not bringing our full presence to the desert, all signs indicate we're building up to a full return to Black Rock City within Anahasana Village! We've already made it to Love Burn with a record turnout of campers for a regional, and most of us have been to our first dances, jams, and authentic relating events, even unmasked! Today at noon pacific, Burning Man opens registration for 48 hours to be able to enter the Main sale on Wednesday, at 11:45 AM, March 30th. Please login to or create your Burner Profile, and register to be in the main sale before Friday Morning.

We are asking all campers who didn't purchase Steward (DGS) tickets or who are planning to buy tickets as a part of the low-income ticket program to please do their best to buy TWO tickets in the main sale, with the idea that if you get a second ticket, you would help a fellow camper who needs a ticket get one. Note, you cannot buy tickets in the main sale if you've bought Steward (DGS) tickets, FOMO tickets, or are applying for Ticket-Aid tickets.

The Ticket Aid Program (formerly known as Low-Income Tickets) Is also now accepting applications, please start working on assembling your application soon, it is fairly involved. See more details on all things related to tickets here.

Camp Contact will meet up in Reno on Sunday evening, August 21st for dinner at our favorite Thai restaurant, and then head to Pyramid Lake for camping before we enter the desert on Monday the 22nd when the box office will be open and we'll be able to get into the Playa with our Work Access Passes.

We are more than half full, if you or your friends are planning on joining us in the desert, please apply for camp by selecting Join.

If you're interested in helping with social media, writing future newsletters, data entry, finances, please message me at dance@campcontact.org. Camp Contact is getting bigger than I can handle and I'd like to keep it growing. I'd like us to figure out how to make organizing it more sustainable while maintaining as much of the ease and simplicity as we can!

Camp Contact's foundations are Contact Improvisation, Acro Yoga, Authentic Relating and Ecstatic Dance! We work hard to create safe spaces with a strong emphasis on consent, and we like to work in a decentralized, do-o-cratic manner.

Over the past few years I've been inspired by a lot of the new philosophies coming from:

• The Stoa
• Game B

• The Liminal Web
• Effective Altruism
• Life Itself
• and so many more Metamodern movements

Are you into these movements? I'd love to chat more with you if you are involved in any of these realms! It's been nice to see a few friends from Camp Contact show up and present on The Stoa, including Jote and Joe Edelman.

If you're in Stockholm or can get there next week, Please check out Jan Artem Henriksson's project & event Inner Development Goals, which are meant to complement the SDGs.

• IDG Zoom Event on March 31st if you can't be there in person!

While I'm sharing videos of campers, be sure and listen to Griff Green talk about his path and time with Burning Man and Crypto.

The only thing I know for sure is that Dance is the answer!
