Login To Google Chrome

If your student is having trouble with their apps (like not being able to join a teacher's Classroom or single sign on in the portal not working), it might be because they are not signed in to Google Chrome with their CCDS Google account (example: 123456@myoneclay.net). This step happens automatically for students at school and on CCDS Chromebooks, so if they are using a device at home for the first time, they may not be familiar with this process.

You can have multiple Google accounts in Chrome and switch between members of your family or people using the device. Once the student is signed in to Chrome, accessing apps like Google Classroom is a breeze! Watch the quick video tutorial below or click on the buttons for additional directions.

If students are using a shared device, make sure they switch to their Google account as a first step! Once signed in to their Google Chrome account, then they can login to the OneClay Portal to access online resources like i-Ready, Achieve3000, Edgenuity, and online textbooks. If siblings are sharing a CCDS Chromebook, please make sure they log out when they are finished (just like they do at school). This will ensure each student's apps function correctly.
