LMS 7/8 Academy Newsletter
October 23, 2026
Message From The Principal
Dear 7/8 Academy Families,
This week, our 8th graders visited the Kalamazoo Expo Center for MiCareer Quest. Students had the opportunity to explore a variety of career pathways and speak with professionals in different fields. They represented Lakeview Middle School exceptionally well and truly demonstrated the Spartan Way. It was a valuable experience, and Iām proud of how our students represented our school.
Next week is Halloween Spirit Week. Be sure to check out the dress-up days listed later in the newsletter. Students are welcome to wear costumes on Friday, but please remember that costumes may not include inflatables, fake blood, weapons (real or fake), or face paint. We look forward to a fun and spirited week!
Tonight is our final home football game of the season against Battle Creek Central. Middle school students are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian. To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, students are expected to remain seated in the stands throughout the game, except when visiting the concession stand. Thank you for your support in reinforcing these expectations. Go Spartans!
