Ashland Preschool Weekly Update

Hi, everyone,

Thank you to all who participated in Rock Your Socks to support Down Syndrome Awareness Day!

Don't forget we will hold Parent/Teacher conferences next week! Full-day students will be dismissed before lunch, between 11:20-11:30 a.m., on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. There will be no PM sessions on those days. Please reach out to your child's teacher regarding scheduling conferences!

Pittaway progress notes went home in backpacks on Thursday, March 23. Special Education progress reports will be mailed to you from the Office of Student Services.

If you know of anyone looking for a preschool experience, we currently have AM/PM sessions open for the 2023-2024 school year. More information about preschool registration is available here.

This a friendly reminder that our Cards for a Cause PTO fundraiser is coming to a close! We are selling boxes of hand-crafted greeting cards for all occasions. Each box is $30 and contains 30 cards with coordinating envelopes. There are several boxes to choose from, including two all-occasion boxes, a holiday card box, thanks and blanks and a children’s birthday box. With each $30 purchase, Ashland PTO will receive $13. These funds will go back to the school and teachers. When the cards are delivered, they will go home with your student.

Parent/teacher conferences will be held March 28-30. On that Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the school will dismiss before lunch at 11:30 a.m. Dismissal will be from 11:20-11:30 a.m. There will be no PM session on conference days.

Conferences are a great opportunity for families to engage in conversations about their child's learning profile and progress. We look forward to this time to have quality discussions with you about your child's development. Please arrange for childcare, so you can actively participate without distractions. If children need to attend, please plan an activity they can do or bring snacks for them.

Please work directly with your child's teacher to schedule.
