Dear New Hingham Families,
We had a fantastic turnout for our annual Open House held earlier this month! It was so nice to see our families and community come together to celebrate the start of another great school year. Everyone seemed to really enjoy the evening, and we are grateful to everyone who helped make it such a success! A special thank-you goes to our community partners, the Ashfield Boy Scouts, Chesterfield Farm Lab, and Florence Savings Bank, for helping make the night extra special for our students and families. We appreciate your continued support of NHRES!
Our Open House raffle also brought some exciting rewards! Thanks to one lucky raffle drawing, first grade earned an extra recess, and a student-selected school spirit day is coming up! The winning choice was Pajama Day, so students can look forward to getting cozy and showing their school spirit.
Looking ahead, families are welcome to join us for our annual Halloween Parade on Friday, October 30, at 9:15 a.m.! Students should plan to wear costumes that are school-appropriate and safe for the school day. We look forward to celebrating together! More information about parade details will be shared soon.
Please also keep an eye out for information about upcoming parent-teacher conferences, including sign-up details, which will be sent through ParentSquare soon. We look forward to connecting with families to share students’ progress, celebrate their growth, and work together to support their continued success.
