Principal's Message

I am pleased to share that our water testing came back clear and our filtration systems are functioning properly so we can resume to regular water use on campus this week. Thank you to everyone for their flexibility with sending in water and a huge shout out to our facilities department and Mr. Nick, our head custodian, for all of their work!

We want to remind you that the Pick-a-Time portal is now open for you to register for your upcoming caregiver-teacher conference. This is an incredibly valuable opportunity to connect with your child's teacher, discuss their progress in detail, and celebrate their growth so far this school year. We encourage all families to sign up as soon as possible, as these conferences are a perfect time to collaboratively set meaningful academic and social-emotional goals that will support your child's success for the remainder of the year. Please log in to the Pick-a-Time system today to secure your preferred time slot!

On another note, we are absolutely thrilled to be preparing for our first Grade Five Trip to Outdoor Classroom in Ocean Park, Maine this week! This week-long experience is a fantastic opportunity that allows our students to engage with the environment, participate in hands-on learning, and build essential life skills. We are grateful for the opportunity to help our students grow their connections to nature, to their peers, and to their learning outside of the traditional classroom setting. We look forward to sharing stories and photos from their adventures when we return!

Attendance & Dismissal Updates: No more phone calls, paper notes, or emails!

Now that the school year is underway, we’d like to remind families that PickUp Patrol is the program we use to share important daily information. Parents should use PickUp Patrol to report:

  • Absences (Please enter as soon as you know of an upcoming absence. It helps us a lot when they are in prior to the day starting).

  • Late arrivals

  • Any changes to dismissal plans (before 2pm)

Using this program ensures that the school office, your child’s teacher, the health office, and the dismissal team all have the same, up-to-date information each day. Families can access PickUp Patrol through the mobile app or the website dashboard.
