Giving Tuesday
What is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday is a world-wide movement encouraging people to focus on giving back to their communities during a “time of giving”. While Black Friday and Cyber Monday focus on purchasing items for others, the following Tuesday or “Giving Tuesday” focuses on each person giving a small donation to help make a HUGE difference in the lives of others.

$10 GOOD REASONS
TUESDAY NOVEMBER 30th
ALL DAY
Did you know that for every dollar invested in early childhood education Birth-Three, there is a $7-$12 return of investment to society? Did you also know that Indiana ranks last in the United States when it comes to access to early childhood education?
School City of Hobart wants to continue to change that narrative here in Hobart through our Building Brickies Program. Building Brickies is a free program which strengthens families by empowering parents as their child’s first and best teachers. Every day, we advocate for families so every child-in every neighborhood- can thrive.
School City of Hobart Building Brickies is a self-funded program which works collaboratively within the school district. This means that our funding comes from grants and community donations alone and not through state or school funding. We cannot do this alone, but if each of us give a little- we can do big things! Our goal this November 30th is to raise $5,000 for the School City of Hobart Building Brickies program to continue the work that is being done on behalf of families here in Hobart. If we could have 500 friends give $10, we would reach our goal.
