Each Wednesday look for the electronic newsletter in your email. It is a priority to provide you with accurate and valuable communication throughout the school year. Details about upcoming events will be included in this newsletter each week.

Remember to set up your Run Wild fundraising page at www.funrun.com. PTO will be back in the cafeteria with the next round of prizes for students on Friday! And don’t forget, every class that meets their class goal will get extra recess and popsicles, and the top class in each grade will get a pizza party! Please see below for some Run Wild reminders.

Spirit Store

Spirit Signs

Cheer your runner on with a spirit sign. We will send the signs home by March 1st. Decorate the sign to cheer on your runner. Send it back by March 6th and we will display it around the track!

Cheer Grams

Cheer grams are bracelets that will be delivered to students on race day. Parents can order for their kids, or kids can order for their friends. Choose your favorite color and we will deliver them to their class on race day. You can also make sure the entire class gets one with discounted class sets.

Spirit Tags

The kids have been having so much fun collecting these this year, so we added a Fun Run themed backpack tag to purchase.

Volunteer Opportunities

We will need several volunteers on the day of the fun run to make this event a success. If you can help out, please visit the following link to sign up.

Mark your calendar and join us on February 27th from 5:00-9:00 for a spirit night at Spring Creek Barbecue. There will be teachers in the dining room serving rolls, and the class with the most participation will get a prize from Spring Creek!

Junior Achievement teaches financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. We need volunteers to make this a success. Every class/teacher needs parent volunteers to help within the classroom to serve as a Junior Achievement volunteer. Please visit the QR code for more information or to sign up!

Late arrivals and early releases will be excused if a doctor, counselor or therapy note is returned within three days. Without a doctor note, early releases and late arrivals will be unexcused.

When possible, please schedule appointments out of school time. If scheduling after school is not possible, please work with the teacher to find an agreeable time to minimize the loss of instructional time.

Students may leave for an appointment with a doctor, counselor or therapist and return to school the same day, with a doctor, counselor or therapy note.

If you forget to ask for a note from a medical provider, notes can be faxed to 832-533-8261 or emailed to suzannepierce@tomballisd.net.
