James Marshall Updates
April 9th, 2024
Attendance
As we move into spring, we hope many of the illnesses that have been going around disappear for the year! Please be sure your child is attending school regularly and on time, unless they have a fever or are vomiting. We have over 20% of our students that are considered chronically absent (missed 10% or more of the school year)! There is still time to make that percentage drop! Also, we have a large number of students who are coming in late on a daily basis! Please be sure your child is on campus by 8:55 so they can get to class on time! Many of the primary grades start the day with phonics and pre-reading skills which are very important and can't be re-taught for students who are late. Let's make attendance a priority for the rest of the year!
