James Madison School #10 loves our students, and we want to see their faces daily.
School #10 is having an issue with high amounts of students absences. Students should only be absent if they have a fever, they are vomiting, or if doctor states they need too.

Attendance for School Matters:
- Trips should not be planned during the school year!
- Schedule trips around our days off using our district calendar. Thank you!
During the month of January, we are focusing on Growth Mindset! This is the belief that we will all develop through effort, learning and persistence. We are starting each day off with positive affirmations during morning announcements. Positive affirmations are statements that are used to encourage positivity and challenge negative thoughts. They can help our students boost their confidence, self-esteem and motivation and help reduce stress! During SEL time, students will be working on yeti themed crafts and activities that focus on "the power of yet". Instead of saying "I can't do this", our students will practice saying "I can't do this YET!"

This month, we will have new attendance incentives. A prize will be given to the class with the highest attendance for January! Students who are present every day this month, will also participate in a special raffle!
