Principal's Message
The Lodi USD Strategic Plan
Earlier this year, our community in Lodi and in North Stockton got together (schools staff and families together) to give their input on the future direction of the schools in our district.
Last week we looked at Focus Area #2 - Safety and Student Belonging. This week, I want to share the 3rd Focus Area of our Strategic Plan.
Focus Area #3 - Future Readiness and Success
- Expand TK-12 College and Career Alignment, Awareness and Accessibility
- Enhance Family and Community Engagement
- Expand Course Offerings, Pathways, and Certifications
- Streamline Graduation and Course Completion Expectations
It's important for us to think about how setting our students up for success BEGINS NOW... in elementary school. π«
Working hard with your student at home and partnering with us here at the school is such an important part of setting a foundation for the success of your student(s). This is especially important as we come to our Fall Conference week at the end of the month. Take this time to better understand your student's progress and partner with their teacher in order to help them to be more successful. Students who see the school and home partnering together are much more likely to achieve success. π€
As we continue in this year, I look forward to sharing other ways in which our school is starting to work towards the goals of our community.
Parklane's Fall Intersession is Coming!
We hope that you will consider this great opportunity for additional school support over the two week break. Please see the flyer below for details. For questions, please reach out to the Parklane office or Ms. Ket from the after-school bridge program.

Phones down, heads up. Creating connections in the classroom.
As we settle back into the routines of school, please help us remind your children that their phones should be put away during school. During school hours, campuses are a "no phone zone" and students will be expected to keep their phones off and put away.
This initiative is designed to support a more focused learning environment while encouraging real, in-person connection outside of the digital world. For more information and answers to frequently asked questions, please visit www.lodiusd.net/be-present.
