Dear Families,

Next week is Staff Appreciation Week. PTO will be showering the Neihardt staff with coffee, snacks, lunch and more. We are looking forward to it!

We will celebrate the end of the year with Family Fun Night on Thursday, May 7th from 5:00 pm -6:30 pm. Join us for food trucks (Corndog Co, High Voltage BBQ, Smash Bites & Kona Ice), bounce houses, a pop walk and staff in the dunk tank. The food trucks will accept cash or card. The dunk tank and raffle baskets will accept Venmo or cash. It will be a fun way to wrap up a productive year together!

Thank you to Mr. Jimenez, father of Heri who volunteered as our Watch D.O.G.S. this week. He spent his time in classrooms, PE, music class, eating lunch with his students and recess. We appreciate our Watch D.O.G.S. for coming in and volunteering.

Attention parents and guardians: If your student has any medications in the health room, they need to be picked up before the end of the school day on Wednesday, May 27th. Any medication that is not picked up by this time will be appropriately discarded. The school will not store any medication over the summer break.

Clothing items needed! The Health Room is in need of boys and girls pants, size 4 - 10. All donations are greatly appreciated.

Neihardt Elementary is excited to announce that Field Day will be held on Friday, May 15th. Grade levels will be participating during the times indicated below. Volunteers are needed during each of the times listed. Field Day Stations are listed on the Sign Up Genius below.

9:00 am - 11:00 am (3rd, 4th, 5th) - Volunteers check in at 8:45 am

1:00 pm - 3:00 pm (K, 1st, 2nd) - Check in at 12:45 pm

We’re excited to bring back Raffle Baskets for Family Fun Night!

This year’s Family Fun Night will take place on Thursday, May 7th, and we’ll once again be raffling off themed baskets created by each grade level. These baskets are always a highlight of the evening and add so much fun and excitement for everyone!

We are asking for your support in helping us fill these baskets with donations. Please check the Sign Up Genius link for your child’s grade level and consider signing up if you’re able to contribute. Your generosity truly makes a difference and helps make this event special for our students and families.

Donations can be dropped off at the school office at any time, but please make sure all items are submitted no later than Tuesday, May 5th.

Thank you so much for your continued support—we can’t wait to see everyone at Family Fun Night!
