Varsity Volleyball Plays Hard in 2 Losses
The girls Varsity volleyball team played hard last week in 4 sets against Holy Family, winning 1 but losing 3, with another hard fought loss to Erie in 3 sets on Thursday. The JV team continued their domination, winning against both schools to remain undefeated for the season.
This week, the team travels to Skyline on Tuesday but will be back home to play Fairview on Thursday at 6:30. Please come out and support the team!
C team and JV dominate Fairview on the Football Field
The C team delivered an impressive performance this week, securing a dominant 27-0 victory. Chase Ivancic led the offensive charge with two rushing touchdowns, while the passing game proved equally effective with Cavan McCurdy connecting with Declan Rezvan for one touchdown, and Marek Maciszewski finding Brayden Lewinski for another. Hawk Werner successfully converted three point-after attempts. The defense was equally formidable, with Alex McDonald, Brayden Lewinski, and River Estrada each snagging crucial interceptions, effectively shutting down Fairview's offense.
The JV team clinched a close 26-20 win, with the defense playing a pivotal role in securing the victory. Brody Frederiksen had a standout performance, recovering a fumble in the end zone and also scoring a rushing touchdown. The defensive highlights continued with Tennyson Parkhurst recording a safety and Jonny Verseput intercepting a pass at a critical moment. On the offensive side, Cooper Craze added to the scoreboard with a rushing touchdown, while Cole Marshall added with a successful field goal.

Welcome to the Monarch Booster Club: Where Student Passions Soar!
Who Are We?
We're not just any parent group – we're the heart and soul of student support at Monarch High!
What makes us unique? We're the only parent volunteer organization at Monarch High, stepping in where there's no PTO or PTA. Our mantra is simple yet powerful: WE SUPPORT STUDENTS!
From Aviation Club to Choir to Soccer, we've got ALL students covered. With over 85% of Monarch students engaged in after-school activities, we're here to fan the flames of every student's passion. Whether your student is hitting high notes in the choir, coding the next big app, or scoring goals on the field, we're here to cheer them on and provide the support they need to excel.
In essence, we're the wind beneath the wings of Monarch's diverse and talented student body. Our goal? To ensure that every student has the resources and support they need to pursue their interests, develop their skills, and shine bright in their chosen activities.
What Do We Do?
- Bridge the Budget Gap: We're the financial superheroes for Monarch's clubs and activities! Last year, we granted over $36,000 to fill the space between budgets and actual needs. Think essential gear like tents/radios for the Mountain Bike Club, cutting-edge cameras for our budding journalists in Newspaper Club, and even pole vaults for our high-flying Track stars. When school budgets fall short, we leap into action!
- Shower Seniors with Scholarships: $10,000 in scholarships last year – that's 10 lucky seniors getting a $1,000 boost!
- Host Epic Tailgates: Buy a t-shirt, and you're in for a year of food, fun, and fantastic company!
- Run 'The Cave': Your one-stop shop for Monarch spirit wear and game-day snacks.
- Shout Student Success: We're the proud parent voice in newsletters and social media, celebrating every achievement.
- Throw the Bash of the Year: Our annual Booster Bash is the talk of the town – cocktails, dinner, dancing, and auctions galore!
