If your student has an early dismissal, please let the office know in the morning. Early dismissal passes are handed out at lunch time. If the dismissal is before lunch, staff will get the pass to your child in the morning.

If your student has a phone, we suggest they check it in the front office to help with a smoother check out and eliminate disruptions to classrooms for early dismissals.

We’re looking forward to celebrating Vermont’s harvest season with our Harvest Celebration in just a few weeks!

This special event highlights the partnerships between our schools and local farmers and producers. It’s a wonderful opportunity for students to taste fresh, local foods and learn about where their meals come from.

ADL will host the celebration on Thursday, November 6.

During November and December, our school has access to limited resources for families that may be in need of support.

If your family needs support for meals, holiday giving and/or winter weather gear, please reach out to Jessica Librizzi, school counselor, at 802-857-7841 or jlibrizzi@ewsd.org.

Winter sports offered at ADL include Cheerleading, Girls Basketball and Boys Basketball.

Sign ups will begin on October 20th and close on October 31st. Interested participants must be signed up by October 31st. The sign up link will be on our athletics website on Monday October 20th. It will also be posted in the PE google classroom and daily reminders will be given in PE classes.

Please note that your child requires a physical examination at a minimum of every two years in order to participate in interscholastic athletics. A completed Sports Participation Clearance Form needs to be on file by 11/10 in order for athletes to be eligible for tryouts for any of the winter sports offerings. The completed form (which is linked below) can be emailed to Nurse Jenna jdallamura@ewsd.org or can be faxed to her (802) 215-4115 or a paper copy hand delivered at school.

Cheerleading

Tryouts begin the week of 11/10.

Dates: Monday 11/10-Wednesday 11/13th.

Time: 6:15-8:15

Location: Maple Street Park, EJRP Main Building in the back. The door on the left side of the building will be open.

The interscholastic volleyball team at ADL begins in March. It is a short season that runs until mid April. This year we are offering a 6th grade only intramural volleyball program as an introduction to volleyball and an opportunity to develop skills before the season.

This intramural program will be run by ADL volleyball coach Jen Liguori with the help of athletes from the volleyball teams at EHS. The program will run from Monday October 27th until Friday November 7th.

** There is a shift in times so it does not conflict with basketball open gyms.

7th and 8th grade intramural football began Tuesday, October 28th, 3:45 pm -4:15 pm. They play rain or shine.

Volunteers usually need to go biweekly or weekly depending on donations. Instructions will be emailed to you. Thank you for supporting our kids' school!

Please drop off your clean bottles and cans to donate to ADL special programs!

Bottles and cans should be in bags! PLEASE DO NOT THROW IN LOOSE BOTTLES AND CANS.
