Annual Wellness Week Activities
Wellness Week will run from Monday, Feb. 10th through Thursday, Feb. 13th! Counseling has collaborated with the PE Department and our Leadership groups to provide all Defenders with opportunities to increase mental health awareness and general well-being.
Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to participate in pre-recorded mini-lessons during Advisement, grade level activities during PE, as well as fun Lunchtime activities.

Semester 2 Period Tardy Notifications
As of 1/14/25, DMS restarted a school-wide initiative to support student attendance and on-time arrival to class.
Parents/guardians receive email notifications for every period tardy earned by their student. The email includes the parent, teacher, student, and administration. Please reach out to teachers and administration if you have any question regarding a marked tardy. Students also receive a paper notification/warning in class.
