Welcome back, Ericson families!

We hope you had a wonderful and restful break, and we’re excited to see all our students return tomorrow, December 1st, ready to begin a brand-new month together.

December is always a joyful and busy time on campus, and our main calendar is already full of exciting opportunities for our students. We have several field trips planned throughout the month, giving students hands-on learning experiences beyond the classroom. This Friday is Family Friday, and we look forward to welcoming families on campus. This Thursday, we’ll come together for our Spirit Assembly—always a highlight for our student leaders.

Please also note that December 19th is a minimum day before we head off for Winter Break. Dismissal will be at 12:15 PM, so please be sure to mark your calendars and plan accordingly.

We are excited to step into December with you—ready for a strong finish to 2025.

With Warm Regards,

Principal, Mrs. Darius Ashton

Associate Principal, Ms. Mimi Luong

This week in counseling, Kindergarten and 1st grade read the book One, which helped students talk about feelings and practice how to stand up for themselves in kind, confident ways. Our 2nd graders did not have a lesson so they could focus on completing important classwork during minimum days. 3rd graders had fun competing in a Thanksgiving-themed Blooket that reinforced teamwork and good sportsmanship. 4th graders worked together on a “Lost at Sea” activity, where they had to agree on which survival items were most important, practicing communication and collaboration. 5th graders learned all about being assertive and why passive or aggressive behavior is not the best way to solve problems.
