Welcome 2026!!

Dear Families and Friends of Rocky Ford Schools!

We hope everyone had a great holiday season and a break from the routines of school. Students will return on TUESDAY, January 6, 2026!

It's hard to believe we are halfway through the school year! Let's have a strong second semester! A few tips: Attendance is the first step to strong academics! Breakfast is served from 7:20a to 7:40a.

The school day begins at 7:40a. The Tardy Bell is at 7:45a.

This second semester will find us continuing to prepare for State testing, which occurs during the month of April. Keep your eyes and ears open for more information.

Are you interested in participating in conversations around policies and practices that happen at the school, for example, cell phone and dress code changes? Learn more about our new School Community Partnership Council! We will be sharing about this during our February Parent Teacher Conferences. Save the dates! Feb. 5 & 6.

We are hoping to expand this section soon! We want to share highlights from the past week.

Students throughout both schools will be focused on resetting expectations. Every classroom builds a Social Contract. With student input, classes determine what their learning environment needs to look like and sound like so every student can be successful. Then, if needed, the connected routines are practiced and reinforced. We do expect all students to give 100% of what they have, everyday. It is common to see honor and respect on these social-contracts; this includes no cell-phones during class-time, complying with School Code of Conduct at all times, and, even, not sleeping in class. As them to share with you!
