Hello Quantum Families,

Our STEM Challenge day teams and coaches have been hard at work in recent weeks preparing for math, science, and engineering tasks at the STEM Challenge Day event, where school teams will compete across the district. Good luck to our 5th and 8th grade teams at Saturday’s event at Rincon! Go Quantum!

We have loved having our amazing after school ELOP offerings this Spring! We have some ELOP classes ending this week, with others continuing. See below for a complete list of classes and their end dates. Thank you to our teachers and vendors who have provided these opportunities to our Quarks!

Have a great first week of April!

Our Spring Break is coming up April 10th-April 21st. Wednesday, April 9th is a minimum day with dismissal at 12:25. When we come back from Spring Break, we will start CAASPP testing with a modified Quiet Campus schedule to allow students focused time in the morning for testing. We encourage all students to get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and bring their charged iPad to school on time every day. We are required to collect all electronic devices during testing.

Tuesday, April 1st is 6th grade family day at lunch from 11:15 - 11:55 am and 8th grade Family Day at lunch is Tuesday, April 8th from 12:35 - 1:15 pm. We encourage all our families to enjoy a lunch and some extra time with your Quark. We appreciate your cooperation in following our nutrition guidelines which prohibit food sharing. 6th Grade families may arrive at 11:10 am to sign in and 8th Grade families may arrive at 12:30 pm to sign in. Families must remain in the lunch area and students will remain at school until the end of the day!
