Springfield Public Schools is considering changes to the 2024-25 academic calendar affecting the week of Thanksgiving. Take our one minute survey by Friday, February 16 and tell us what you think!
We want to hear from as many voices as possible (and thanks to those who have already taken the survey). The District will use the results from this survey, combined with other feedback, to help the Board of Education make a more informed decision.
The survey closes Friday, February 16.
Exclusion Day is Next Week
Students must have a complete vaccine record to attend school
Students must have their school required vaccines by Exclusion Day, Wednesday, February 21, 2024. After that day, students who are not current on the required vaccines will not be able to attend school until their vaccine record becomes complete.
Does your child need to catch up on immunizations? Call the Springfield Schools Health Center (SSHC) to set an appointment or attend their immunization clinic Wednesday, February 21. The clinic is open to all Springfield Public Schools students and located on the Springfield High School campus. Students without insurance that covers vaccines can get immunized for free. SSHC bills insurance and Medicare, Medicaid and OHP.

Friendly Reminder:👋 School is In All Day in February
The School Board on January 29 approved adjustments to the academic calendar to make up school time missed due to the ice storm. Students are expected in school for the full day:
- Monday, February 19 (Presidents Day): Full Day
- Friday, February 23: Full Day
