Veteran's Day
Message Sent to Families 10/19
Eagle View Families,
We will observe Veterans Day on Thursday, November 12th (accommodating the New Prague Color Guard to join us) with an all-school assembly. Part of our program includes a slideshow of veterans who are associated with our Eagle View students. We will continue to build on last year's digital presentation, meaning if you submitted last year (or any year in the past) you do not need to submit again. For our new students, kindergarten students, or those who have updates, please do the following if you would like to participate-
- Send an email to your classroom teacher that includes your student's name, the name of their Veteran, which branch of the military they served in, and any other basic information that will be put on a slide.
- This information will be put onto a slide and added to our presentation, which will be shown at our assembly on November 12th.
This assembly will include the New Prague Color Guard, our students and staff, and any Veterans who would like to attend (9:20-9:45 AM). Due to space limitations in our gym, we cannot invite families to attend but will share pictures and the slideshow. Please have all pictures sent to your classroom teacher by Friday, October 30th.
Thank you!
You are warmly invited to the annual Evening for Education social on Friday, October 23rd, at Next Chapter Winery, starting at 6:00 PM (open house style—come when you wish!).
This fun, relaxing evening is a major fundraiser organized by the New Prague Area Education Foundation, which directly impacts our schools by funding classroom grants and senior scholarships across both public and private schools in our community.
Evening for Education includes:
Food, beverage, and music
Fun games and basket raffles
Exciting silent and live auction items
A great atmosphere with fellow supporters of our kids!
It’s a wonderful opportunity to unwind, catch up with colleagues across the district, and raise funds that directly benefit our students.
We hope to see you there!

Profile of a Graduate
The New Prague profile of a graduate displays the career ready skills students will learn through opportunities and experiences during their K-12 experiences.
This month we are focused on being an engaged learner- listening when the teacher is talking, asking questions, participating in class discussion, and thinking about the topics being taught and connecting to what we already know.
