Job Seeking
Do you have a Resume?
What is a Resume:
A resume is a concise, one-page document that summarizes your education, experience (such as volunteering, school projects, sports teams, or clubs), skills, and accomplishments. It is designed to market you to employers by highlighting qualifications and skills relevant to the job you are applying for.

Do you have a Work Permit?
Work Permit:
Students 14 - 17 years old seeking employment are required to have a work permit in order to begin working. Issued work permits are valid for the current school year, and must be renewed each school year in the MCHS Administrative office.

How to dress for an interview?
- Dress appropriately. This is your first impression, and how you dress can show your interviewer how important the job is to you. As such, you’re better to aim for professional than err on the side of too casual. Collared shirts, blouses, dress slacks, skirts, dresses, blazers, suits and cardigans are all good choices.

COMMUNITY SERVICE
Sundevil Way Guide to Community Service
High Schools have a close relationship with their community. Mt. Carmel is not an exception. We rely on our community to support our programs, provide opportunities for our students, and to create a positive climate to live and learn. It is vital that Mt. Carmel students seek to be positive members of the community, for the good of the student and for the good of all in the community.
