The Stone Ranch Foundation is celebrating our 5th grade students by gifting each of them a promotion yard sign to recognize their hard work! Yard signs will be available for pickup at the end of the family picnic.
Our amazing school librarian will be hosting a book sale during the family picnic. Books are available for a suggested donation of .25 cents each.
Looking Ahead: Class Placements for the 2026-2027 School Year
As we gear up to close out an incredible year, we are already beginning the thoughtful process of preparing for the next. Planning for the 2026-2027 school year is a collaborative effort, and Principal Heard will work closely with our grade-level teams and Special Education department to develop our future class lists.
At Stone Ranch, we take great care to design equitable school outcomes. We consider a multitude of factors to ensure every student is placed in their best possible learning environment. Classes are balanced based on several criteria, including:
Academic performance and learning needs
Social-emotional dynamics
Peer relationships and classroom chemistry
Because our placement process is so intentional and relies on balancing the needs of the entire school community, we do not accept parent requests for specific teacher assignments. Our goal is to create a space where every student feels supported.
Parents will be notified of their childโs new teacher when we return in August. Thank you for trusting our educators and their expertise in building a successful year for every student!
26-27 Safety Patrol Application Open
Attention all current 4th grade students. Do you want to help your school, gain valuable leadership experience, and enjoy wearing really cool red clothes? Then joining the Safety Patrol may be for you!
All interested students should complete the Safety Patrol Application!
Weโd love Trailblazer alumni, Class of 2026, to join the Stone Ranch Senior Walk on June 3rd. Itโs one of our most meaningful days of the year. Please fill out the Google Form, and more details will follow in the coming weeks. Also, feel free to share with any seniors and/or their families who you might know!
Bidding is now open! You can access the auction and view all the items at the following link: Spring Fling Auction 2026. Happy bidding!

We look forward to seeing you Friday, May 1 at 5:30PM at the Bernardo Winery!
Dear Trailblazer Families,
We are so excited to welcome you to an unforgettable evening at the winery โ and even more excited about what your support makes possible!
The proceeds from our online and live auction are essential to preserving the programs that make Stone Ranch so special: our Impact Teachers, Kindergarten Literacy Aides, Art Teacher funding, enrichment activities, and teacher assessment days that allow educators to individually assess each student. These are resources that benefit every single Trailblazer, and they depend on the success of this event.
Planning to attend but need childcare? SD Gymnastics is offering a Kids Night Out (KNO) exclusively for Stone Ranch families on the evening of the event! To enroll your child, simply follow these steps:
1. Create an account at SD Gymnastics: www.sdgymnastics.com
2. Then contact them directly to complete your enrollment โ email caitlyn@sdgymnastics.com or call (619) 333-5589.
This two-step process keeps the KNO exclusive to Stone Ranch kids, so spots are limited โ enroll early!
Do you own a business โ or know someone who does โ that might like to become an event sponsor? We'd love to connect! Click here to learn more.
We can't wait to see you on Friday, May 1st at 5:30 PM at Bernardo Winery!
Warm regards,
Nadine Keyes
