Summer is here! The school year is complete. I hope you are all enjoying the warm weather and having fun outside. I am enjoying spending time with my husband and family. My husband and I will be traveling to Hawaii for vacation this summer and then we hope to do some camping as we just purchased a camper! I hope you all find time to explore all that Michigan has to offer during the summer months.
I am busy at school getting ready for the next school year. The office is open Monday through Thursday 10am-4pm but we will be closed the week of June 29th for the holiday. We do have some wooden chairs and a table still up for grabs on the front porch; any donation is accepted.
Every Tuesday from 11-12pm, Kids Food Basket will be in our parking lot handing out food for children for a week. No paperwork is required. This happens June 16th-August 11th.
Please remember to have your child read daily for at least 20 minutes. This can be a book, newspaper, magazine, etc. Your local library has an abundance of books to choose from and also a Summer Reading program to join! Remember: Readers are Leaders!
We are accepting new enrollments. So please tell your family, neighbors, and friends about our awesome little school! More information can be found on our website at www.glennpublicschool.org.
