Dragons,
I LOVE the school spirit and pride you all are bringing to the games this year in football and now basketball. You are LOUD and PROUD as you should be.
I need you all to remember that we are CLASSY DRAGONS. Cheer positively for our team, but be careful to not be disrespectful to other teams. When we are in the heat of a game we want to "get in the other team's head." We can do this without being disrespectful but by staying engaged and cheering loud. We do not need to name-call, be derogative, or put others down.
The Arkansas Activities Association (AAA) has a set of guidelines for sportsmanship that include things like no handheld posters, noisemakers, etc. I also have expectations for you. Please see the attached image for our Fire Pit Sportsmanship expectations. Refrain from booing, calling out the opposing teams players, and posting negative images/videos of specific players from other schools.
