PBIS in Action: Grove Bucks at Work!
Our PBIS program recognizes students for demonstrating our schoolwide expectations: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe! Students can earn Grove Bucks for making positive choices and use them to purchase special rewards and experiences. This week, students cashed in their Grove Bucks for the opportunity to enjoy lunch outside with friends—a fun way to celebrate positive behavior and build connections at AGMS!
Counselor’s Corner
Do you LOVE what you do?
Do you work in an interesting or unique field?
Would you love the opportunity to inspire the next generation?
We’re looking for enthusiastic career volunteers to spend an hour or two with our eighth-grade students and share your career journey, what you do, and the possibilities that exist beyond K–12 education.
This is a great opportunity to help students explore careers, discover new interests, and get excited about their future!

AGHS Friday Night Football Games
We love the #AGSDpride that our entire school community shows at our Friday night home football games. As a reminder, all family members are expected to sit in the stands to enjoy the game, cheer squad, and marching band. Beginning on Friday, September 18, the “hill” near the home stands will no longer be accessible. Spectators who want to enjoy Kona Ice, can visit the truck by using the gate near concession stand. Thank you for your partnership and support for AG athletics!
GETT (Girls Exploring Tomorrow's Technology)
Please see this opportunity for girls in grades 4-10. Registration is now open for GETT (Girls Exploring Tomorrow's Technology), a free, hands-on, expo-style STEM experience for girls in grades 4-10. At GETT, students participate in interactive STEM activities led by women from leading regional companies and organizations, meet STEM professionals, and explore educational and career pathways in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. These role models help students envision their own futures in STEM while providing real-world perspectives on careers and opportunities.
