Good Evening Weymouth High School Community,

The Massachusetts High School Drama Festival is a prestigious competition that features more than 100 one-act plays from high schools across the state. The festival unfolds in three stages—preliminary, semi-final, and State Finals—with students recognized along the way for excellence in both acting and technical design.

This weekend, Weymouth High School was one of just fourteen schools selected to advance to the State Finals. Their performance of She Kills Monsters was truly exceptional, showcasing remarkable talent, creativity, and dedication in every aspect of the production. Congratulations to the Weymouth High Theater Club on this outstanding achievement and on representing our school community with such pride and excellence.

Two of our winter coaches were recognized as Coaches of the Year. Congratulations to Danny Murphy, our wrestling coach, and Pat Kennedy, our boys hockey coach. Both have done an outstanding job not only achieving success with our student-athletes, but also building strong, sustainable programs that emphasize commitment, growth, and pride in representing our school.

Term 3 closed on March 27th. Report cards will be posted on Monday, April 6th. Term 4 starts on Monday, March 30th. Have students check their schedules for new classes and studies.

Parking stickers are required to park on campus. Students who do not have a sticker will be issued warnings this week. Students who do not have a sticker may be towed.

Student Course Selection - 3/30/26 - 4/10/26

This week we will continue with the course selection process. Students will be able to view their teacher recommendations and begin selecting their elective courses. Please take some time to review the process with your student and discuss their choices. Here is the slideshow that students are using as a guide for course selection. All students will have 1:1 meetings with their guidance counselors during this time frame to discuss their schedule.

Senior Parent Information Night - 4/8/26, 6:30PM

Join our senior Dean Bonner on Wednesday, April 8th at 6:30 pm, in the Auditorium. We will be providing information about the end of the year activities and graduation.

Junior Prom - 4/11/26 - WHS Gold Cafeteria, 7-9:30PM

Tickets will be sold at lunches this week. Students must have their dues paid and have 20 community service hours completed to attend.

Have a great week!

Last Call for Yearbook Senior Baby Pictures Last Call for Yearbook Senior Baby Pictures

Last Call for Yearbook Senior Baby Pictures

  • Yearbooks for seniors are included in the class dues and fundraising efforts. The Senior Class orders a book for every senior. To offset the cost that the Senior Class pays to purchase every senior a yearbook, we offer “Baby Ads.”
  • This is a fun tradition at WHS -- and is usually a surprise for the seniors. Families submit a baby or toddler photo of their senior and a personal message to their graduate. The price is $30 per ad.

All baby ads must be submitted by March 31. To include your Senior student’s photo and a message in the Class of 2026 section of the Yearbook, please follow this 2-step process:

  1. Families will sign up and pay on the coffeepond.com website. Go to the “Order Yearbooks” section and use the code: WHSBA.

  2. Next families will upload their message and baby/toddler photo using this Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeOS75mSbGb_wnDhzD65AqJ2ZE2B8lGkyCskJiD0lPPYCPu5Q/viewform

Note: Families are not limited to one ad per senior; sometimes aunts, uncles, and grandparents submit their own ads separately.
