Wednesday: Halloween Fest

We will be hosting our annual Halloween fest for children in our community on Wednesday, sponsored by Student Council. The festivities will begin at 4:30 PM in the stadium. Children from the community can come with their parents to walk the track for trick-or-treating with our clubs and activities. Halloween Fest will end at 6:00 PM

Thursday: Yoga Fundraiser for Veterans Day

In preparation for Veterans Day, we will be holding a free 45-minute yoga session for students to attend on Thursday, October 26th. We suggest that all participants bring a $5.00 donation to support Wounded Warrior. This organization raises money to support rehabilitative programs for veterans and active service members after 9/11 who have experienced a mental or physical injury as a result of their time in service.

Friday: Last Chance Underclass Yearbook Photo Retake Day

We will hold one final Yearbook Photo Retake Day on Friday, October 27 from 7:30-3:30 PM. After-school availability is confirmed for this date. This is the last chance to have your yearbook photo retaken! Visit the 2nd Floor Auditorium for the retake during your Wellness or free period.

Thursday, November 9 - Veterans Recognition Assembly - Invitation for Veteran Attendees

This year we will be hosting a school-wide Veterans Recognition Assembly. We are honored to invite Veterans who are residents of the community, relatives of former or current students and staff, district employees, and others who have made a difference in the lives of Fremd Vikings.

Veterans interested in attending will arrive at Fremd between 8:30 and 8:45 and stay until the conclusion of the assembly, around 10:00 am. The assembly will include a few brief speeches and many musical performances from our incredible student bands and choirs. All Veterans in attendance would be seated together on the main floor. They would be asked to stand or wave, during the Salute to the Armed Forces, when their respective branch is identified.

If you are interested and would like further information as the date approaches, please complete this google form.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Mrs. Billittier (cbillittier@d211.org or 847-755-2826).
