Eagle Express
Dear Families,
It’s an incredibly exciting time to be a part of Arrowwood community! This week marks a major milestone for our fifth graders as they officially begin their transition to middle school. Between diving into course scheduling as Ms. VanTol visits our building and taking their first official tour to the middle school, the air is thick with excitement and maybe a few nerves. We are beaming with pride as our fly the nest this week and attend the Winter Special Olympics at Hartley Nature Center. We wish our students a day filled with fun as they participate and explore new adventures!
Make it a great weekend, Eagles!

Soar Squad to the Rescue!
Dear families,
We have heard your feedback and are excited to increase the ways you can be involved here at Arrowwood Elementary. Beginning as soon as February, we will be launching the Soar Squad, a parent and family volunteer initiative where you can help support students to soar to new heights here at school. Please follow the link or use the QR code to complete this interest survey to get on the list, see the opportunities available, share how you would like to help, share your preferences for volunteer training, and more. Thank you in advance for your partnership and commitment to our Eagles!
With excitement,

Care Closet Donation Drive - Accepted through Monday February 2nd
Our Student Council works hard on many different projects throughout the year. One of those is creating and running a Care Closet, where all Arrowwood students can go to get items they might need throughout the school day. These items include hygiene supplies, school snacks, socks, winter gloves, and more. To restock our inventory, classes will be competing to donate the most items to the Care Closet. The class who donates the most items from each grade will win PJs and Play, a day where they schedule an extra recess and can wear their pajamas to school. Donate by sending items from the list below with your child, or use the QR code to shop from our Amazon Wishlist (https://bit.ly/AESCareCloset26) and have items shipped directly to the school. If you shop online, be sure to include your child's teacher so they get credit for their items. Our Student Council thanks you for your support!
Help Wanted: Lunch Monitor and Guest Monitors Needed
