Our 8th graders learned a lot on their trip to the Zekelman Holocaust Center on Tuesday. The students will use everything they learned from this trip in their ELA Class during their Holocaust unit. Thank you Mrs. Helmer for putting this all together for our students.

54TH ANNUAL AMERICA & ME ESSAY CONTEST WINNERS

Congratulations to Isabelle Hutfilz, Colton Siler and Ryleigh Bain for earning first, second and third place in the Farm Bureau sponsored essay contest. Isabelle will have her name engraved on a plaque to be displayed in the school, along with her essay advancing on to the state level competition. The topic for this years contest was "My Personal Michigan Hero". We want to congratulate all three of our HMS students for doing such a great job and keep on writing.
