Coming up this Thursday 11/6, from 5-7pm, is our District Math Night and Family Fun Event here at Columbine with math activities, scavenger hunt, games, and prizes . . . we hope you'll join us for a fun evening. We could use a few more volunteers to make the evening awesome! Come help for 30 minutes then have fun with your kiddo the rest of the time! Please click here to sign up to help! Thanks in advance for your consideration!
I am really looking forward to our Veteran's Appreciation Breakfast on November 11th at 7:30am right here at Columbine. Please join your student for a special breakfast in our library to start the day. If you or a loved one is a Veteran, I hope you'll join us - click here to RSVP. And remember, the district Veteran's Day Assembly takes place that afternoon at 1:30pm at the high school.

Reminders
Winter Weather Procedure
If there is a two hour delay in WPSD, all Columbine students will check in with our delayed start questionnaire, available here. The questionnaire will also be sent to families on the morning of the delay so you can access it easily.
Snow Day Procedure:
If there is a snow day announced for WPSD, Columbine Elementary will be closed. Enjoy the snow day!
Leave Toys and Trinkets at Home
Please note that toys and trinkets or other distracting accessories and/or personal items are not permitted at school. We appreciate your support to keep such items at home, so they do not become a distraction the in instructional environment.
Bring Gym Shoes
Please remember to send a pair of shoes for your student to wear for gym class! Proper shoes help students to stay safe and be able to participate appropriately in class. Questions? Connect with our PE teacher, Ms. Goldberg.
Immunization Requirements
As a reminder we are required by the State of Colorado to have an up-to-date immunization record, in-process plan or an exemption for each of our students. Immunization requirement notifications were sent out this week to our students who are still missing required documents.
