It’s Fun Run Week!

Thank you so much for your support! I know you are hearing from your kiddos every single day about getting those pledges, we are almost there! Hang in there!

Make sure you are also asking your little lions about the lessons they are learning each day. The Apex coaches always do such a great job bringing fun, positive messages to our students, and we love having them on campus!

We hope to see you Thursday for our Fun Run! We will be running on the front field between Keenan and Oak Hills. Come out and cheer on your little lion! You are welcome to park in either the front or back parking lot.

I say this all the time, but we truly appreciate you and all of your support. We couldn’t do what we do without our amazing Keenan families! ❤️

We are excited to share a new way to help speed up the process for student check-outs, lunch visitors, and more through CrisisGo Visitor Management.

Before coming to campus, you can now pre-register right from your phone by uploading your ID and submitting it directly to KES. This will help make your visit quicker and smoother when you arrive.

Transportation changes must be made in writing no later than 2:00pm. Changes can be sent with a student or emailed to KeenanTransit@misd.org. If you are making a change from your normal daily transportation, a note must be sent in each time that needs to be changed. With close to 700 students we want to ensure everyone gets home safely and the correct way.

If your child received free or reduced-price meal benefits last school year, those benefits will expire on September 24th. Please complete your Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application as soon as possible to make sure your child’s meal benefits continue.

Even if you aren’t sure you qualify, we encourage all families to apply. In addition to free meals, qualifying families may also receive access to other helpful resources such as reduced fees for tests, extracurricular activities, and internet services.
