EEI CONNECTIONS

This week is teacher appreciation week. Please help us celebrate the fabulous teachers at East End Intermediate School. Students received a Top Secret note that had simple ways to thank their teacher (write a thank you note to their teacher, pick a flower for their teacher, or bring their teacher his or her favorite soda or candy).

Invitations for Summer Camp 2022 went home Friday, April 29th. Please ask your child if they received one. It was printed on blue paper. They are due back Friday, May 6th.

This year there will be two sessions of Summer Camp.

• Session I-June 6-9 and June 13-16
• Session II-June 20-23 and June 27-30

If you want your child to join, please select the session you would like them to attend. They can attend both sessions. The student day for both sessions is Monday-Thursday from 8:00 am-2:30 pm.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Transportation bus stops will be provided as well.

Please remember the dress code policy for SSD. The full policy is on pages 119-120 in the student handbook.

Here are a few reminders of what is not allowed at school:

• Shirts that do not cover the midriff
• Shirts/tops that do not cover a 3 inch minimum of the shoulders
• Clothing 4 inches above the knee (shorts, skirts, dresses)
• Leggings (Unless with a shirt that is no more than 4 inches above the knee)
• Pajamas, Lounge Pants, House Shoes
• Jeans and shorts with ripped seams or holes more than 4 inches above the knee
• Sunglasses, Hats

There are just a few yearbooks left. If your child would like one they are $25.
