• Students who wish to participate in our Athletics program must complete all paperwork (Pre-participation Physical Evaluation, Parental Permission and Insurance Statement forms).

• All completed paperwork must be uploaded to Aktivate and approved prior to the student trying-out for any sport.

Beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, a new Florida law will require first‑time student athletes to pass an electrocardiogram (EKG) screening before participating - or seeking to participate - in interscholastic athletic competition.

This screening helps identify potential heart conditions early and supports the safety and well‑being of our student athletes.

Student athlete (or student–athlete) is a term used principally in universities in the United States and Canada to describe students enrolled at postsecondary educational institutions, principally colleges and universities, but also now at secondary schools, who participate in organized competitive sports sponsored by that educational institution or school.

All families of participating student athletes must use their access to GameChanger to keep up-to-date with communication form their child's coach(es).

Only cashier's checks or money-orders, made payable to Franklin Academy PTO, will be accpeted as payment for this event.
