Kindergarten - 3 Report Card Rubric
Barnstable Public Schools
K-3 Report Card Communication
Key Areas to Highlight:
When you are reading a student’s report card, please keep in mind...
Current student performance is measured against end of year expectations.
If a student receives a “2” for “Working Toward the Standard(s) and Competencies”, the student is on track to meet the end of the year expectation.
If a student receives an asterisk in a box, this is to inform you that the student needed support from the teacher in the particular area.
If a box is left blank, this indicates your student is on track and there is no concern.
The goal is to have a student performing at a “3” for “Meeting the Standard(s) and Competencies” by the end of the year report card.
