Grade 9 students will be participating in Take Our Kids to Work Day on Wednesday, November 4th. Students are encouraged to spend the day at a parent’s workplace to learn about different careers and workplace experiences.

If a student is unable to attend with a parent, they may arrange to spend the day with a family friend. If a student is having difficulty finding a workplace placement, please see Mrs. Forsyth for assistance.

The parent permission form is attached and must be completed and returned.

2025-2026 Yearbooks have arrived and will be available to purchase in the office for $35. There are some old yearbooks 2023-2024, 2022-2023, 2021-2022 and 2019-2020 ($10/yearbook) available to purchase in the office.

Community Futures Meridian Region, in partnership with Return to Rural Project, is proud to support the Youth Side Hustle Program in participating schools and communities across the region.

This hands-on, module-based program is designed for rural youth ages 12–18 who are ready to explore entrepreneurship, creativity, and what it takes to start and run a small business. Upon completion receive a $200.00 cash incentive.

Whether it’s baking, photography, lawn care, handmade goods, services, or a brand-new idea — this program helps youth take action, think creatively, and build confidence along the way.
