- Congratulations to Rose Crystal of Acacia Magnet School, CVUSD's October 2025 Teacher of the Month!
In observance of the importance of educational leadership at the school, school district, and county levels, the California Legislature has designated the second full week in the month of October of each year to be the "Week of the School Administrator."
The title “School Administrator” is a broad term used to define many education leadership posts. Superintendents, assistant superintendents, principals, assistant principals, deans, special education and adult education leaders, curriculum and assessment leaders, school business officials, classified educational leaders, and other school district employees who are considered administrators.
We are so thankful for our School Administrators all year through, and we invite the whole Conejo community to join us in celebrating them this week! Click here to learn more.
Drop, Cover, and Hold On: The Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drill Returns Oct. 16th
Major earthquakes may happen anywhere you live, work, or travel. The ShakeOut is a good opportunity to practice how to protect ourselves, and for everyone to become prepared to "Drop! Cover! Hold On!"
Safety preparedness is key in the CVUSD!

CVUSD's Child Nutrition Team Hosts Fruit Taste-Test Events
Our amazing Child Nutrition team is always looking for new ways to introduce students to new, healthy food options. Last week, lunchtime was even sweeter at two CVUSD elementary schools, where students had the opportunity to participate in a Cuties fruit taste-test, complete with juicy oranges (for lunch and to-go!), fun stickers, and engaging activity kits! The verdict? Thumbs up all around! A big thank you to Sun Pacific for their partnership in bringing this healthy snack to our students' lunch tables.
