Please mark your calendars with the following dates so as to avoid conflicts with family events:

• April 24, 25, & 26 - PSSA ELA Grades 3 - 8: makeup dates April 27 & 28

• May 1 & 2 - PSSA Math Grades 3 - 8: makeup dates May 3, 4, 5
  

• May 4 & 5 - PSSA Science Grades 4 & 8: makeup dates May 8 - 10
  

Our district held belief is that all students in grades 3 - 8 should take the PSSA exams and give their best performance. The exams provide valuable data that allows us to appropriately plan and adjust our instructional practices in these areas.

Crestwood JV and varsity hockey teams. are playing in the NEPASHL championship games for their respective divisions on Monday 27 Feb at Toyota Sportsplex in W-B.

• JV will be playing Hazleton at 5:30
• Varsity will be playing Wyoming Valley West at 7:15.

Leadership Northeast is excited to announce that Junior Leadership Class of 2024 applications are now available. I have attached electronic versions of all relevant documents.

Please note that two Student Leadership Assessments are required for a complete application. The attached document is a writable PDF, and there will also be a link to the application (and required Assessment forms) on their website www.leadershipnortheast.org. All Class of 2024 applications should be typed for submission. This year’s application deadline is Friday, March 10, 2023. We will accept the first 20 completed applications per school. Please download the document in order to save changes.

Counselors will be in classrooms to speak with students. All of the information shared in the classroom presentations will be shared with students through their guidance google classroom as well.

9th grade going into 10th grade - this week - the week of February 6th

10th grade going into 11th grade - the week of February 13th

11th grade going into 12th grade - the week of February 20th

8th going into 9th grade - the week of February 27th.

This would be ideal for motivated full-time students, 18 and up, in good standing with an interest in STEM and basic maintenance skills.
