Principal's Message
Dear Amazing Parents and Families,
I hope this message finds you all in high spirits! As we gear up for another fantastic week of learning and fun, here are some updates and friendly reminders:
๐ **MLK Holiday:** Get ready for a short but sweet week! We're taking a day off to observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day. It's a holiday for both our incredible staff and our fantastic students.
๐ถ **New Face in Town:** Big news! Mrs. Carter, our wonderful counselor, is on maternity leave, and we're thrilled to welcome Dr. Morgan. Dr. Morgan will step in with a warm smile to cover Mrs. Carter's duties until she returns.
โ๏ธ **Chilly Weather Alert:** Brrr! Bundle up, little stars! Cold temperatures are on the horizon, so let's ensure our scholars are dressed in layers to stay cozy. Even though we'll be inside during arrival, our caring staff will pop outside to open car doors and help our little ones easily enter the building. We need your help by having them ready to get down when they get to parking lot. I included Dallas ISD communication regarding weather in the "Resources You Can Use" section.
๐ **Save the Date - Parent-Teacher Conferences:** Exciting news! Parent-Teacher Conferences will kick off the week of January 22nd and continue until February. Look out for the upcoming newsletter from our teachers with details on how to sign up. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect and discuss your child's progress.
Last but not least, I would like to express my gratitude to our PTO on behalf of our staff for sponsoring our winter holiday party. It was an excellent opportunity for fellowship and camaraderie that will make us grow stronger as a team.
Your support means the world to us, and we're looking forward to another week of laughter, learning, and growth together.
Sending positive vibes your way!
Warm regards,
Dr. G
