Snowy Days
With the significant snowfall this weekend, we appreciate everyone’s patience as snow removal was completed. Unfortunately, the plowing company did not arrive as promptly as expected on Monday, which led to delays in clearing. We have addressed this with the contractor and thank you for your understanding as we work to ensure better response going forward.
We hope you stayed warm and comfortable!
Winter Update
As winter settles in, many larger construction and landscaping projects naturally pause until spring. That said, important work is still moving forward. Tree maintenance has been underway and will continue through the winter, with additional work planned once warmer weather returns. We’re also looking ahead to adding new bushes and trees in the spring to keep our community looking its best. In the meantime, repairs to several garbage sheds and minor building maintenance will be addressed shortly.
We’re excited to share that the clubhouse has received a fresh update! It’s been repainted in a bright, welcoming color, lighting has been upgraded, and a new refrigerator has been installed. We’ve also added WiFi, with a TV coming soon. These improvements are part of our goal to make the clubhouse a more inviting space for community gatherings and a great option for private rentals.
New lights have been installed both inside and outside all the garbage sheds for added visibilty and and safety. We hope you find them helpful.
Street light repairs near the Spring Street entrance will take place as weather conditions allow. After more than 30 years, these lights need to be stabilized, and this work will help ensure safety and reliability for years to come.
Lastly, community signage that has begun to show its age will be replaced soon, helping keep our neighborhood looking well cared for and easy to navigate.
Thank you for your patience and support as we continue to maintain and improve our community.

Parking at Liberty Knoll
Traffic & safety issues are created when we do not park legally within the community. Our roads are simply not wide enough to accommodate street parking. There have been a number of complaints and after several attempts to take corrective measures, there are still dangerous parking violations.
We encourage all residents to review the policy in advance to ensure compliance. Our website has the entire handbook as well as other important information available- we have copied the pertinent sections below.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Parking Regulations at Liberty Knoll
- The Ossining Police, Ambulance, and Fire Departments have notified the Homeowner’s Association that their ability to respond to emergencies within the complex may be delayed or inhibited by the narrow road widths of Knoll View, Sparta View, David’s Lane, and Vista Court. As a result, parking on the street is not permitted at any time.
- Homeowners, their families, renters, and guests must be extremely careful on the common roadways of the property, instructing them to stay on the sides of the road and on the lawn areas either in front or back of their respective homes. The playground is available for use by children as a play area.
- Parking on the street (not in a designated parking area) or blocking the roadway or the driveway of a homeowner will result in the offending vehicle being towed at the vehicle owner’s sole risk and expense. Common roadways should not be blocked by pedestrian, bicycle or skateboard traffic.
- Homeowners are not permitted to park in visitor spots at any time. Visitor spaces are for visitors only.
- Any homeowner vehicle parked in a visitor spot will be issued a warning and/or fine in accordance with the “Fines & Fees Schedule”. Towing, at the vehicle owner’s sole risk and expense, will result if a third violation occurs.
- Parking on the street is not permitted at any time and may result in immediate towing at owner’s expense.
HOW TO AVOID FINES
Follow the LK parking rules. Park in your garage, driveway or in a designated parking spot. Do NOT leave your car parked in the street.
Please be reminded that the Liberty Knoll Parking Policy is available for review at www.LibertyKnoll.org.

Being a Good Neighbor Means...
Being Considerate. Leash your pet at all times.
Pet owners are expected to be respectful of their neighbors and always clean up after their dogs. This includes the waste bags. Please be sure they make it to the dumpsters.
If a homeowner chooses to ignore these guidelines, they will incur a $25 fine for each violation.
Observe the Posted Speed Limits
Be sure to drive slowly throughout our neighborhood.
We have many people that enjoy walking and they need to be safe to do so.
If a homeowner is reported to be speeding, they will face a $50 fine.
