LEAP DAY
Volunteers Needed for LEAP Day at PSA!

News from the House of Cerberus
Dear PSA Families,
We are excited to share that our next LEAP Day (Learning Enhanced Achievement Program) is just around the corner (October 2nd), and we need your help to make it an enriching and memorable experience for our students! LEAP Day is a beloved PSA tradition that steps beyond the regular classroom to offer students creative, hands-on learning opportunities in a variety of interest-driven sessions. With the support of our House System, these special days foster community, build character, and allow students to explore passions in a fun and engaging way.
We are seeking parent volunteers to help make the day a success! Whether you’d like to lead a session based on your skills or hobbies, assist with activities, or help facilitate House competitions, there are many ways to get involved. Some specific areas we need help with include:
Assisting with an enrichment session (art, storytelling, STEM, finance, crafts—whatever you love! We love outside knowledge and expertise.)
Assisting with hall monitoring during transitions and Town Hall so teachers can set up and break down materials in their classrooms
Helping run outdoor games or House competitions
Providing snacks for the Teacher's Lounge on that day
If you’re interested in volunteering or learning more about how you can be part of LEAP Day, please reach out to Ms. Brown, Mr. Sweeney, Ms. Wells, or myself. Thank you for being part of what makes PSA such a vibrant, passionate, and connected community!
Warm regards,
Mr. Jenkins
