After-School Support Now Available
We will begin offering after-school support on Tuesday and Thursday until 4:00 pm. Please check the Daily Bulletin on our website for availability each week.
Celebrations!
We have many things to celebrate!
Thanks to all of the online voting, Bronson High School won 2nd place in the Johnny’s School Spirit Challenge and we have been awarded $1,000. Our students will be voting on how to spend the money.
We now have BHS Unified Sports Ambassadors who participate in activities with students from the Waldron Center in Coldwater. Students were able to go to Waldron on Friday, October 20th and spend the morning with students doing fall/Halloween activities.
The following students were selected from their programs at the Branch Area Career Center as the “Outstanding Student” for the 1st marking period:
- Raul Aguilar: Autobody & Custom Paint
- Natalie Tappenden: Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement
- Arika Wronikowski: Culinary Arts
- Madelynn Woolf: Education Academy
- Christun Wilson: Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources II
We had 2 student athletes earn All-State in Cross Country. Congratulations to Ava Hathaway who placed 24th and Ashlynn Harris who placed 29th.
Our Varsity Volleyball team made it to the Regional finals.
Our Varsity Quiz Bowl won 1st place Saturday claiming the Big 8 title (They were undefeated for the day). We also had a Junior High team attend and they came home with 2nd place.
Students Leaving During the Day
We ask that parents contact the office if they are going to picking their child up from school early. This will ensure that an adult is aware and that we have accurate records related to attendance. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
REMINDER: There is No Parking in Front of the Building from 7:30-8:30 AM
This will allow morning drop-off to go more smoothly. If you have an early morning meeting scheduled, please park in the west (student) lot. Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this.
Viking Care Center Help is Available
Winter is here! The Viking Care Center was established as a way to give students and their families help by providing items that are needed. We currently have clothing, including some outerwear, hats, and gloves, shoes, toiletries, some food items, and some laundry products available at the school. Please have your child talk with someone here at school or feel free to contact the office about the needs your family may be facing. We would love to help!
Changes to Pick-up Procedures Coming Soon!
We will be changing our pick-up procedures after Christmas Break. Additional details will be coming in a couple of weeks.
