Cahaba Elementary is forecasting success for all students this year! Teachers gathered for C meetings led by our academic coaches, Maggie Burns and Christi Watts, and together they celebrated the success of our students on the Spring ACAP. During each grade level meeting, teachers enjoyed lattes and discussed next steps for how to “Reach New Heights” in student learning this year! We are so proud of our students and teachers! It’s always fun and encouraging to look at our students data!

Fourth grade students participated in an engaging robotics lesson that helped them understand the power of complex sentences. Using Indi car tiles, students began with simple instructions and gradually progressed to more advanced programming. As they observed how additional commands led to more powerful car behavior, they made the connection that, similarly, more complex sentences can communicate ideas more effectively.
