Announcing ASD’s Annual Elementary Track & Field Meet

We are happy to once again be offering the opportunity for all 4/5th grade students in the Ashland School District to participate in our annual elementary track meet. Our 4/5th graders have the chance to be involved in at least one track or field event as part of their Physical Education experience. Your student athlete will be traveling with their classroom teacher on the bus to and from the event.
On the day of the meet students will need to bring a sack lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, and wear appropriate clothing for the weather. Running shoes are recommended. Please do not have them wear spikes or cleats.
Each school will have canopies set up. If you have one that we can use for the day, please email the PE teacher.
PARENT VOLUNTEERS!! We need at least two parents per class to help run the events. Please let the PE teacher know ASAP if you can help.

All begin at 10:30. Volunteers report to AHS at 9:45

*Keep in mind it is hard to predict when certain races may begin, which is why there are no times listed for particular races.
Students may participate in two field events and two running events. They also have the opportunity to join a relay team.
