October Professional Learning Opportunities
NEW TDOE and TNPulse Office Hours
The Student Supports Team will now be offering a new TN PULSE office hours on the 2nd Tuesday of every month focused on providing technical support for TN PULSE functionality and student specific issues related to ILPs (English learners) and ILP-Ds (characteristics of dyslexia). Priority during these office hours will be given to individuals with open ZenDesk tickets within TN PULSE, but all attendees, time permitting, can ask questions.
The creation of these regular targeted office hours will provide a space to discuss platform functionality and student-specific cases without taking time from regular standing office hours designed to support programmatic implementation of the RTI2 framework, processes related to universal screening and screening for characteristics of dyslexia, and the provision of intervention and other instructional supports, including.
Educators can join the TN PULSE Technical Office Hours on Teams the 2nd Tuesday of every month beginning in October 2024, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. CT via Teams meeting link. These are in addition to the regular office hours on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month and the target topic office hours on the 4th Tuesday. Please note that TN PULSE functionality questions will be directed to these new office hours to allow for a focus on RTI2 implementation practices and programmatic decision-making.
MSCS Office Hours
MSCS Office Hours will be available beginning this week. Please complete the form linked below to request Office Hours Support. Support sessions will be scheduled with those who have common support requests. For example, I would not group aimswebPlus Progress Monitoring with the group who requested support with ILP-Ds.
Links to join will be sent out on Tuesday morning by 8:30 a.m. each week so submissions after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday will be addressed the next week.

Current Vendor Tickets
TNPulse
- MSCS IT and PCG continue to work on resolving state id error codes. This is why some students do not appear rostered.
- PCG is working on ensuring that aimswebPlus progress monitoring data points are pulled over into the MTSS platform.
- PCG is working on resolving students who show on the B05 Advanced Reporting when they should not.
aimswebPlus
- There are some students who appear to be rostered incorrectly, though they have not been at the school since week one. Please do not delete the student or any associated data. Instead please report this to RTI2@scsk12.org with the teacher's name, student's name, and student id number.
Things to Note
TNPulse Plan Target Date
Christine shared that the "target date" is not required when developing MTSS Plans. If set, there is no impact or connection to aimswebPlus as data should pull directly from aimswebPlus.
What do I do if I need to reset an aimswebPlus Progress Monitoring Probe?
If you need to delete or reset an aimswebPlus Progress Monitoring Probe, please email RTI2@scsk12.org the following information.
- Student first and last name
- Student id number
- Teacher first and last name
- The name of the probe that needs to be deleted
- The date of the probe that needs to be deleted
Grade Level Progress Monitoring
aimswebPlus will allow you to maintain two separate progress monitoring schedules for students.
From the grade level Survey Level Assessment given, create a monthly grade level progress monitoring schedule to follow.
You should have a separate Instructional Level progress monitoring schedule.
Should I delete goals in progress monitoring when a student meets the ROI or goal?
Pearson cannot recall data that is deleted. You should "expire" a goal, but never delete it.
