High School Transition High School Transition

Attention 8th Grade Families!

It is important for us to begin to convey the high school transition process. For our local high schools, February marks the time of year where they begin planning for the next school year with schedules and course planning. This is a long process that takes months to come together. As soon as you know what school district your 8th grader will be attending it is helpful for planning purposes if you enroll your student for the following year. Conway cannot enroll your student for you.

Throughout February, your 8th grader will explore life beyond high school planning and high school course catalogs. Save the date, March 13th, for our Conway High School Transition Night where students will share with you their plan and local high schools will be available to answer questions. More info soon!

Use the following links to get high school information for Mt Vernon and Stanwood High Schools. As more information is updated with other districts we will share this out.

Registration

Mount Vernon High School Registration will be during the month of February, March and April. Here are a couple of things to keep in mind: All registration videos, forms and course catalog are available on this registration website. If you miss registration lessons in advisory or during your class

FIRST Lego Robotics at Conway FIRST Lego Robotics at Conway

FIRST LEGO League is turning STEM education into an interactive museum adventure this year. Students get to build each lego set which features a specific exhibit in our interactive museum. Then students will code the LEGO exhibits to interact with the robot. It's not just a club; it's a chance to blend creativity, problem-solving, and tons of fun.
